How to change the number of check-in / check-out operations performed by a script
Posted by Ondas Santos (M-Files) on 07 August 2018 10:33 PM

You can try increasing the default values of the following registry settings on the server if you are having timeout errors with your scripts

    Default value
Registry Key  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Motive\M-Files\<Version>\Server\MFServer
Value Name  ScriptOperationLimit 25
Value Name  ScriptTimeoutInSeconds  90
 Value Name  ScriptObjectCreationLimit 10000

M-Files Server service restart might be needed for the changed values to take effect.

Disclaimer: this will not be useful in every use case so there will be times in which the solution will be to modify the script itself in order to accommodate the user needs.
