This document describes issues presented after Chronoscan Application is automatically updated.
2. Impacted Products and Versions
M-Files is only impacted by the use of the Chonoscan Application. M-File tools work as expected. Chronoscan application fails to run correctly after auto-update.
Impacted Chronoscan Version: 126.96.36.199
Processes fail to run: wci_export, wci_import, wci_processing_server, and wci_web_server.
4. Cause and Reason
Cause & Reason: identified as an Enterprise auto-update installer issue. The Enterprise software doesn't update all elements of the application needed.
5. Solution / Workaround
The solution was provided by Chronoscan Support (firstname.lastname@example.org). In these cases, it is required to install both installers, Desktop and Enterprise, separately since the Enterprise software doesn’t have the auto-update capability.
