Outlook Error After File Upload

Outlook Cannot perform this action after file upload

1     Overview / Work Notes

After dragging and dropping and attachment from Outlook to M-Files, the user tries to delete the attachment from Outlook.  The following errors (or similar) are generated:

2     Solution / Workaround

This issue is caused by network latency.  Check the file status in the Desktop client to make sure that the file is finished uploading in the background.

Right-click on the M in the system tray.  Choose Show Status from the menu. Or open M-Files Status using Windows Start menu.
